5500 ton salt storage facility with direct
railcar conveyor system.
We offer complete railcar and truck transfer at Claremont, New Hampshire. We are centrally located in the Upper Connecticut River Valley with convienent access to several major highways and the national railroad system. Ground level, dock and conveyor transfer are available at this location. Also on site we have a below railcar “tunnel” for extremely efficient and direct railcar to truck transfer. Any commodity that can be dumped from either open top or covered hoppers into dump trailers or trucks can utilize this unique facility. A state certified digital/analog truck scale and weighmaster are also on site providing sales and gross/tare ticket services.
During the winter months a large capacity salt transfer and sales facility is in operation at Claremont. Here a high speed, high capacity conveyor unloads salt from covered hopper rail cars directly into our salt storage shed. Over 4500 tons of salt are stored in this dry, recently renovated building. On demand salt is moved by front end loader into customer trucks. This facility is currently providing salt to communities and business throughout Vermont, and New Hampshire.
